lyrics

Together, we had fun
We had a good time

After all, it made no sense
There was a lot to define and your love was spent
You could hold out for something more
But baby, I have what you’re looking for

I know you don’t hate me you know how to break me
It’s you that I need and I know that you need me
You don’t want to spend these nights so alone
It’s something in your eyes

Come with me
We could leave this town
Before it brings us down

After all, it made no sense
There was a lot to define and your love was spent
You could hold out for something more
But baby, I have what you’re looking for

I know you don’t hate me you know how to break me
It’s you that I need and I know that you need me
You don’t want to spend these nights so alone
It’s something in your eyes

After 4 months of sweaty chemistry, they wrote and recorded an album entitled Wives' Tales. ... more
